Senior IT Network Engineer

• Drive engagement with other stakeholders, such as the Security and the Workplace teams, to scale and improve our IT network service.
• Resolve all network problems.
• Manage the reduction of technical debt within current platforms
• Manage IT network vendors. Purchase and manage IT network hardware and software
• Create policies, standard operating procedures, and use quantitative and qualitative analysis to improve these policies and procedures continuously
• Ensure policies, procedures, and operations comply with the security standards that we are committed to achieving.
• Participate in 3rd party and client IT audits.
• Improve productivity, cost efficiency, asset utilisation, and streamline processes.
• Manage IT network projects from plan to completion
• Manage the overall architecture of the platform landscape and the service-level agreement

• Unquestionable integrity in handling confidential information is required.
• Communications: distil the right info to the right audience, drive changes, etc.
• Analytics: identify and solve problems based on data
• Process management: document and continuous improvement, business impacts, user experience, change management, etc.
• Flexible with and accepting of change
• Deep knowledge of IT network technology, insights and market trends of the technology
• Keep up-to-date on security risks and vulnerabilities of responsible IT tools and options to mitigate them.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest IT technologies and trends. Propose new solutions that can benefit us.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or MIS or equivalent work experience
• 10 years or more of experience in IT or a similar technology field.
• Extensive experience and proven track record in building, scaling, supporting, and improving enterprise network systems and services
• Entrepreneurial mindset and results-driven. Thrives in a fast-paced start-up environment
• Demonstrates integrity, good judgment, and ability to act as a trusted advisor with the most senior levels in an organisation.

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations
