What you can expect

As a Developer Advocate, you will lead customer application development using Zoom API/SDK, guiding IT requirements leveraging Zoom tools. You will design next-gen communication solutions with our customers and oversee solution design and implementation. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, internal teams, and occasionally external partners, ensuring successful outcomes for all business stakeholders.

About the Team

The Premier Developer Support (PDS) team provides high-level support and consultation to our customers with Premier Developer Support services. The Premier Developer Support team is part of the Escalation Engineering team. The team will work with the large cross-section of PDS customers including independent software vendors, EDU, healthcare and private sector. The PDS team may also work on customer-requested app migrations since these cases will likely require involvement with our Legal Developer Operations teams.

What we’re looking for

  • Have a Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience

  • Bring at least 5 years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, or developer advocacy

  • Build strong relationships with customers and demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Have a solid background in full-stack web development, with proven expertise in delivering high-quality user interfaces across platforms

  • Demonstrate proficiency with modern frontend technologies such as Node.js, React, Vue.js, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and CSS3.

  • Show a solid understanding of the web technology stack, including TCP/IP, HTTP, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs

  • Demonstrate domain expertise in Contact Center, SaaS, API/SDK, and ISV partnership models
