Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust data architectures that support business goals and analytics needs;
• Ensure that data solutions are scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance;
• Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to integrate data solutions into broader data ecosystems;
• Design, implement, and manage ElasticSearch clusters for efficient data storage and retrieval;
• Optimize ElasticSearch performance and scalability to handle large volumes of data;
• Ensure data integrity and availability within ElasticSearch environments;
• Design and implement machine learning models to analyze data and generate actionable insights;
• Utilize AI techniques to enhance data analysis processes and automate data workflows;
• Continuously evaluate and refine AI models to improve their accuracy and efficiency;
• Lead the team in AI data annotation and management efforts to ensure high-quality data for model training;
• Implement processes and tools for efficient data annotation, validation, and management;
• Oversee AI quality evaluation projects to ensure the accuracy and reliability of AI models;
• Implement DevOps practices to ensure efficient and reliable deployment of data solutions;
• Automate data pipelines and workflows to streamline data processing and analysis;
• Use Ansible for managing cluster deployments and configuration management;
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate data solutions into CI/CD pipelines and monitor their performance;
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the data team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment;
• Coordinate and prioritize team tasks and projects to align with business goals and timelines;
• Ensure data integrity, quality, and governance across all data systems;
• Implement data security and privacy measures to protect sensitive information;
• Conduct regular data audits and assessments to ensure compliance with data protection regulations;
• Develop and maintain incident response plans for data-related issues;
• Monitor data systems for performance and reliability, responding promptly to any incidents;
• Conduct post-incident analyses and implement improvements based on findings;
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of data architectures and related processes;
• Provide training and guidance to team members on best practices for data management, machine learning, ElasticSearch, and DevOps;
• Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in data architecture, machine learning, ElasticSearch, and DevOps.

What we're looking for:

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Communications Engineering, a related field, or a foreign degree equivalent;
• Must have 6 years of experience in job offered or related occupation;
• Must have 6 years of experience in Distributed Computing and Parallel Processing (e.g. MapReduce, Apache Flink);
• Must have 6 years of experience in Data Pipeline and Big Data Processing;
• Must have 6 years of experience in Cloud Computing and Distributed Architecture (e.g. AWS, Google Cloud, Azure and Alibaba Cloud; Kubernetes and Docker);
• Must have 6 years of experience in Linux System and Network;
• Must have 6 years of experience in Full-text Search and Vector Search (e.g. ElasticSearch, Pinecone and ChromaDB);
• Must have 6 years of experience in Application of Advanced AI Technologies (e.g. Natural Language Processing);
• Must have 6 years of experience in Ops and Automated Pipelines (e.g. Ansible, Jenkins, Prometheus and Grafana); and
• Must have 6 years of experience in Microservices Architecture and API Design.
• Must have 4 years of experience in AI Model Deployment and Management (e.g. TensorFlow Serving, ONNX, and Kubeflow.).
• Telecommuting work arrangement permitted: position may work in various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Position does not require domestic or international travel.

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations.
