Workplace Lead - Zoom HQ- San Jose

The Zoom team is looking for a dynamic Workplace Operations Lead to oversee our ever growing San Jose HQ site. 2 buildings, 7 floors, 125,000 sq ft and over 800 hybrid Zoomies and growing! Strong focus on modern hybrid solutions and delivering happiness to all employees, customers and visitors!

  • Manage and oversee day to day operations at Zooms HQ site in San Jose, CA, ensuring the office is running smoothly and efficiently, delivering a high service level.

  • Partner with our FP&A partner and America’s Workplace Manager to understand the growth strategy, with a strong emphasis on hybrid work practices, in an agile environment.

  • Assist on programming expansions and upgrades, ensuring all workplace standards are being met, programs delivered and final fit-up is executed for the first day of business.

  • Oversee all operating budgets, working closely with the accounting team on month/quarter end closures.

  • Manage a local team of workplace coordinators and reception, delegating responsibilities and empowering growth and development.

  • Manage various workplace vendors and budgets for property management, parking, janitorial and all preventative maintenance and repairs.

  • Manage internal ticketing systems ensuring SLA’s are being met at site.

  • Manage the Zoom Eat Happy Food Program, focusing on the 4 core pillars.

  • Partner with our Global EHS manager for onsite program for emergency response and ergonomics.

  • Partner with the Physical Security team to ensure all access systems are operational at all times and maintain security standards and procedures.

  • Serve as site liaison for Zooms Business Continuity Plan.

  • Partner with global peers and business partners to ensure consistency of brand and culture across all sites.

  • Partner closely with all executive stakeholders, experience center teams and administrative teams to build trusted relationships, support various events and requests.

Required Skills and experience:

  • 8+ years of experience focusing on workplace operations and/or in facilities management, delivering top notch customer service in a high tech environment and managing a workplace team and workplace programs.

  • Strong vendor management, small projects and furniture project experience.

  • Managed opex and capex budgets, partnering closely with finance on monthly and quarterly accruals.

Salary Range or On Target Earnings:





In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations.
