About the Role

As the Reputation Communications Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and managing our corporate reputation. This position requires a strategic thinker with exceptional communication skills, crisis management expertise, and a deep understanding of stakeholder engagement. You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive reputation communication strategies related to security and privacy, managing crisis situations, and liaising with the government relations and legal teams to protect our interests.

This role will report to the Corporate Communications Lead.

You will:

• Develop and execute proactive communication strategies related to security and privacy initiatives, including supporting executive thought leadership efforts for Zoom’s Chief Privacy Officer and Chief Information Security Officer.

• Develop and execute a proactive reputation management strategy aligned with the organization’s vision, mission, and values.

• Lead crisis communication efforts during incidents, coordinating with cross-functional teams to manage the response.

• Work closely with the legal and government relations team to develop communication plans for policy, legislation, and legal matters, including litigation, intellectual property, and compliance.

• Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure a positive perception of the company.

• Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets, pitch stories, and manage media inquiries to ensure accurate and positive coverage.

About you:

• BA/BS degree (e.g. Communications, Journalism, Liberal Arts) or equivalent work experience

• 10+ years experience in PR, a mix of agency and corporate in-house technology communications experience preferred

• Experience with B2B companies/tech companies and familiarity with tech media

• Strong understanding of security and privacy regulations and compliance standards

• Experience in partnering with government relations teams

• Strong understanding of crisis communication strategies and experience managing high-stakes situations.

• Excellent written and verbal comms skills

• Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Strong program/project management and organization skills

Salary Range or On Target Earnings:

Minimum:

$88,300.00

Maximum:

$209,600.00

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations.
