As a DevOps Manager at Zoom, you’ll lead a team of software engineers and be responsible for the efficiency of our products in a global scale. Through your leadership, Zoom will deliver projects for services and be reliable on disaster recovery and security. Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end availability and performance of infrastructure platform

• Build automation to prevent problems recurrence

• Lead by example, mentoring the team and establishing technical credibility

• Manage on-call rotations across continents, using a follow-the-sun model

• Design, write and deliver software to improve the availability, scalability, latency and efficiency of Zoom systems

• Focuses on optimization of cost and processes, building infrastructure and automation around the team’s work

• This leader has experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems

Basic Qualifications

• Previous experience in People Management, establishing clear partnership and accountability within the team

• Experience with Infrastructure as a code - Terraform, CloudFormation.
  Microservices architecture and orchestration - Kubernetes / K8S / ECS

• Knowledge of Access Control Policy / RBAC

• Excellent communication skills

• Experience with languages such as Python, Java and C++

• Knowledge or experience with Bash or shell scripting

• Experience with cloud vendors such as AWS,GCP, OCI, Azure, and private cloud

• Desirable experience and knowledge in Ansible, Chef or Puppet

• Experience with Continuous Integration/Deployment

• Understanding of model development, training, cost optimization, and real-world applications of AI
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working with Cloud technologies

• Desirable prior experience as a System Administration

• Knowledge and/or experience coding with Go (Golang)

• Sense of ownership, with a systematic problem-solving approach

• Experience monitoring SLI/SLO/SLA
