This DevOps Manager (Platform and Security) will be partnering with security and platform DevOps leaders who are unifying how we deploy software. This leader will evolve CI/CD pipelines at a large scale is a required attribute for this position.

Responsibilities:

• As a DevOps Manager (Platform and Security), you'll lead a team of software engineers and be responsible for products globally, providing technical leadership to key projects and empowering and developing teams to do the same.

• Lead a team of Software Engineers on projects and be directly responsible for reliability, high availability, disaster recovery and security of services etc.

• Own end-to-end availability and performance of services and build automation to prevent problem recurrence

• Lead by example, mentor the team, and establish credibility through quality technical execution.

• Design the CI/CD pipelines and lead the team toward building stable CI/CD pipelines

• Manage on-call rotations across continents, using a follow-the-sun model.

• Design, write and deliver software to improve the availability, scalability, latency and efficiency of systems

• Focuses on optimizing existing systems, building infrastructure and eliminating work through automation.

• Focuses on infrastructure cost optimisation.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.

• Infrastructure as a code - Terraform, CloudFormation, etc

• Microservice architecture & orchestration - Kubernetes / K8S / ECS

• Access Control Policy / RBAC

• Excellent communication skills and a sense of ownership, with a systematic problem-solving approach.

• Python / Go (Golang) / C++ / Java/

• Bash or shell scripting

• System administration

• Experience with any cloud vendors like AWS,GCP, OCI, Azure, private cloud etc.

• Prior experience working on cloud and system administration is an added advantage.

• Ansible/Chef/puppet

• Monitoring - SLI/SLO/SLA

• Continuous integration/Deployment design is a must

• Management - accountability, partnership
