Position Description
About the Role
Are you passionate about cloud technologies, automation, Linux, and building systems that scale? Join Vymo's DevOps team and gain hands-on experience working with production-grade cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring systems, and modern DevOps practices.
As a DevOps Intern, you'll work alongside experienced engineers to build, deploy, monitor, and optimize systems that power a global SaaS platform used by enterprise customers across the world.
Primary Responsibilities
Gain hands-on experience managing and troubleshooting Linux-based systems and servers.
Monitor live applications and infrastructure using industry-standard observability and monitoring tools.
Work with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure and learn how modern cloud infrastructure operates at scale.
Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines to enable faster and more reliable software delivery.
Participate in application and infrastructure deployments across Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments.
Investigate incidents, analyze logs, identify root causes, and contribute to maintaining platform reliability.
Support access management, system configurations, and infrastructure best practices.
Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system performance, scalability, and operational excellence.
Additional Responsibilities
Contribute to infrastructure automation initiatives and operational efficiency projects.
Create and maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, and knowledge-sharing resources.
Gain exposure to backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies used in production environments.
Work closely with Engineering, QA, and Product teams during release cycles.
Explore emerging DevOps, Cloud, and Platform Engineering technologies and best practices.
Support continuous improvement initiatives across infrastructure, deployment, monitoring, and reliability processes.

Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
Ideal Candidate Profile
Strong understanding of Linux fundamentals, file systems, permissions, package management, and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, CI/CD concepts, and software deployment workflows.
Basic understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
Exposure to monitoring and observability tools is a plus.
Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes will be an added advantage.
Strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn new technologies.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Passion for automation, infrastructure, and cloud-native technologies.
