We’re excited to add a Partnership Executive to our team, reporting to our AVP, National Partnerships. As a Partnership Executive, you’ll maintain responsibility for your assigned carrier clients, working primarily with each carrier’s inter-departmental executive team members, focused on distribution and operational development. You’ll identify root cause challenges and implement top down strategies to deepen our relationships with these partnerships.

This role is based remotely, with potential for travel 10% of the time.

About the role

  • Strategically manage partnerships with national and regional insurance carriers to ensure account retention

  • Develop key stakeholder relationships within complex carrier organizations to influence outcomes

  • Identify partners’ areas of focus, anticipate partner needs, and proactively problem solve to manage resolution of escalated issues with carriers

  • Maintain carrier files and agreements with up-to-date product and integration language

  • Leveraging data and technical solutions, develop and execute strategies and communication plans with carriers to drive engagement, promote growth goals, and improve overall carrier health in partnership with the Client Experience team

  • Promote carrier discussions for integration interoperability opportunities (where applicable) and identify opportunities in the carrier process to create ROI

  • Collaborate with your manager to secure internal and external executive support of partnership commitments, goals, and tradeoffs

About you

  • 4+ years of client success/account management experience in employee benefits. Life, disability, dental, vision, worksite, or stop loss experience preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience building relationships rooted in trust, responsiveness, and diligence with both internal and external constituents

  • Proven ability to leverage data and technology to analyze, strategize, and build scalable solutions

  • Familiarity or direct experience working in evolving environments. We’re energizing the next generation of the benefits industry, so we adapt and iterate regularly.

  • You’re comfortable communicating clearly and concisely, have strong organization and prioritization skills, and take initiative even if you don’t have all the answers.
