General Consumers: Hair Color Virtual Try-On Evaluation
Germany
What We're Researching
We're running a paid study on the effectiveness and realism of digital hair color try-on tools. This research directly informs how augmented reality features map different shades and lighting conditions to real users. By gathering diverse feedback, we can improve the accuracy and confidence users feel when exploring new looks online.
How It Works
During this remote session, you will use both a computer and a smartphone to access a digital testing environment. You will be asked to try out various virtual hair colors using the device camera. We will have you capture these results in a well-lit room so we can observe how the application handles different lighting scenarios. Finally, you will answer a few questions about your experience and the realism of the digital overlays.
Who This Is For
We are looking for everyday consumers who are interested in testing out new beauty technology. You need to have access to a working smartphone, a computer, and a well-lit indoor environment to complete the tasks effectively.
