Location: Remote (GA, FL, AL)
THE OPPORTUNITY:
At Salesloft, our Inbound Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) are pivotal to our company’s success. You will be a key member of our fast-growing and high-performing sales team and will be our boots-on-the-ground solution for building relationships and creating exceptional experiences for prospective customers who are already interested in our solutions. Specifically, you will engage with inbound leads through channels including chat, email, phone, and web forms—qualifying and understanding their needs, educating them on the value of Salesloft, and ensuring every potential customer has an engaging and informative first encounter with our brand. We believe that the most successful SDRs have a passionate and supportive team behind them.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for qualifying our inbound leads through deep discovery conversations, educating the market about the power of Salesloft and generating opportunities with net-new customers. Specifically, you will:
- Differentiate Salesloft to prospective customers as the leader in the Sales Engagement industry.
- Exemplify our results-focused value, consistently achieve or overachieve on your sales targets communicated to you on day 1.
- Manage lead flow and discovery meetings across our revenue organization. Quickly identifying and qualifying strong sales opportunities to be passed to our rockstar team of Account Executives.
- Be able to clearly articulate the values of the Salesloft platform and provide a thorough explanation of our packages and offers .

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
We are seeking a results-oriented, collaborative, and motivated team player who is excited about building relationships and driving new business growth. On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for responding promptly to inbound leads, qualifying prospects through discovery conversations, communicating the differentiators of Salesloft, and generating qualified sales opportunities for our Account Executives. You’ll need to manage multiple conversations simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and consistently achieve or surpass your goals. You will work closely with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to deliver a cohesive, high-value experience for every prospect.

The Inbound SDR team consists of The Inbound Sales Development Representatives on our team share a few common traits: they are self-motivated, ambitious, and passionate about making meaningful connections with prospects. THE SKILL SET:
- BS/BA strongly preferred
- 1-2 years of relevant sales experience required
- Previous cold calling experience required
- Collaborative mentality by prioritizing ‘we’ and not focusing on ‘me’
- Results driven & competitive nature
- Superb writing, communication, and listening skills; you must understand objections and defeat them by turning skeptics into ecstatic new customers
- Outstanding time management skills
- High level of empathy - it’s important for our Enterprise Development Representative’s to be a good person to peers and prospects
- Proven ability to make strong connections and overcome rejection to achieve results
- Desire to move up the ranks and become an Account Executive in the future required
WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOU’LL:
- Attend Salesloft’s New Hire Orientation, where you will learn our Salesloft story and understand what makes our “Lofters” unique
- Join our 3-week Sales Bootcamp, where you will learn our software and all the skills necessary to set you up for success, allowing you to make an impact in the market quickly
- Begin 1:1’s with your manager, understand your 30-60-90 plan, meet & shadow current members of the Salesloft team, and delve into your territory
- Set your OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) with your manager and develop an action plan to achieve them
- Begin to cold call and understand how to utilize your knowledge to overcome objections
WITHIN THREE MONTHS, YOU’LL:
- Have a strong understanding of Salesloft and feel comfortable pitching our software to prospects from self-sourced efforts
- Meet regularly with your assigned Account Executives, Manager, and peers to become an expert on the product, talk track and prospecting
- Continue your education around Salesloft’s competitive advantage and continue to strengthen your business acumen
- Consistently achieve your activity goals
- Become an expert on internal tools and processes
WITHIN SIX MONTHS, YOU’LL:
- Consistently meet or exceed your quota
- Complete your Lessonly training to ensure you are up-to-date on new releases and more
- Continue to focus on your OKRs
- Assist in the development of best practices for lead generation
WITHIN TWELVE MONTHS, YOU’LL:
- Be seen as a trusted business-advisor and SalesLoft expert, making a significant impact on the Lead Generation team
- Be considered a top-performing Enterprise Development Representative on the team by consistently exceeding your goals
- Work with sales and marketing to help create new campaigns to drive pipeline
- Set an example for new Enterprise Development Representative’s, and assist in training, onboarding and motivating new Lofters
