The Opportunity
At Salesloft, our Marketing Operations Specialist will be pivotal to our company’s success. We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Marketing Operations Specialist to join our growing marketing team.
In this role, you will be instrumental in optimizing our marketing technology stack, ensuring the smooth execution of campaigns, and providing valuable insights through reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of marketing automation platforms, particularly Marketo, and a passion for operational efficiency.
On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for:
- Marketo Program Management:
- Build and launch Marketo programs, including emails, forms, and landing pages.
- Conduct rigorous pre-send QA checks for all outgoing communications.
- Thoroughly test campaign flows and validate data synchronization across integrated systems.
- Execute email and audience segment builds within Marketo.
- Perform list imports, ensuring data cleanliness and accuracy.
- Set up and diligently monitor smart campaigns and triggered programs.
- Support updates and optimizations for nurture campaigns.
- Monitor email deliverability and proactively address spam rates.
- Perform regular Marketo program cleanup to maintain system health and efficiency.
- Marketing Technology & Systems:
- Implement and manage changes to Drift playbooks.
- Investigate and resolve sync errors across Drift, Marketo, and Stack Moxie.
- Document and escalate recurring platform issues to relevant support teams.
- Conduct thorough QA for event and webinar setup within various platforms.
- Manage and update project items in Monday.com, including adding automations and standardizing processes.
- Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all recurring marketing operations tasks.
- Reporting & Analytics:
- Generate monthly Drift performance metrics.
- Compile weekly or monthly email marketing performance metrics.
- Track and report on weekly or monthly video performance metrics.
- Update campaign performance metrics, pulling data from Terminus or Looker as needed.
- Create and update parent campaign identifiers in Salesforce (SFDC) for integrated campaign tracking.
- Develop and maintain Looker Studio web reports, adapting existing templates and filtering across various pages.
- Support ad hoc reporting requests, such as campaign retrospectives and webinar follow-ups.

The Skill Set:
- 2+ years of experience in a Marketing Operations role, with a strong focus on marketing automation.
- Proven expertise with Marketo, including program building, email deployment, and lead management.
- Experience with other marketing technologies (such as Drift, Salesforce (SFDC), Terminus, Looker, and Monday.com) is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for optimizing processes and improving operational efficiency.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
