At Salesloft, our Procurement Analyst will be pivotal to our company’s success. You will be a key member of our fast-growing and high-performing finance and corporate services team, driving value across the entire Salesloft organization via (i) building cross-functional relationships, (ii) streamlining processes and communication channels, and (iii) identifying cost-savings opportunities and driving initiatives to realize those savings. To achieve these outcomes, you will have a passionate and supportive team behind you.
On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with business leaders and penetrating the organization by continually demonstrating value and breaking down barriers in order to effectively manage spend across all categories. Specifically, you will:
- Engage business leaders and vendor stakeholders to develop relationship equity
- Drive procurement digitization and process improvements to simplify the buying process and make it easy for employees to get the goods and services they need to be productive
- Own, manage and scale all procurement systems and processes, continually identifying and implementing improvement opportunities
- Lead the Salesloft procurement process from beginning to end, including:
- leading and/or facilitation of supplier bidding and selection
- pricing negotiations
- key commercial terms negotiations
- interaction with both parties’ legal representation and other departments as appropriate
- initial contract review
- obtaining organizational buy-in
- Develop, track and report on key procurement metrics to improve Salesloft’s operational excellence

Our Salesloft’s Finance and Corporate Services team is comprised of seasoned and up-and-coming finance, accounting, and legal professionals who are all aligned on one vision and mission:

THE SKILL SET:
- 5+ years of progressive procurement leadership, preferably in a SaaS environment
- Experience in establishing cross-functional relationships and comfortable building relationships at particularly at the executive levels
- Experience with end-to-end intake-to-pay procurement software and implementing best practice procurement processes and procedures
- Negotiation experience and understanding of contract law is a plus
- Understanding of post-procurement accounting process (e.g., Purchase Orders, Fulfillment, AP, etc.)
- Analytical mindset with the ability to dive into the data details and extract insights in order to develop spend strategy and drive savings
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to assimilate information gathered to make the best possible decisions on behalf of Salesloft
- Collaborative mentality by prioritizing ‘we’ and not focusing on ‘me’
- Superb listening skills and ability to marry business objectives and with desired financial outcomes
WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOU’LL:
- Attend Salesloft’s New Hire Orientation, where you will learn our Salesloft story and understand what makes our “Lofters” unique
- Learn Salesloft’s current procurement process and software, setting the foundation for how you will design the NextGen procurement function
- Begin 1:1’s with your manager, understand your 30-60-90 plan, meet & shadow current members of the Salesloft team
- Set your OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) with your manager and develop an action plan to achieve them
- Meet key business stakeholders across the entire business, with whom you will partner to drive the best procurement deals for Salesloft
WITHIN THREE MONTHS, YOU’LL:
- Select Salesloft’s NextGen procurement software
- Begin designing Salesloft’s NextGen procurement strategy
- Be the face of Salesloft’s procurement process, including direct interaction with vendors and leading contract renewal discussions and negotiations
- Partner with legal and security counterparts to ensure all applicable reviews and approvals completed prior to contract renewal deadlines
- Begin understanding Salesloft’s non-compensation Spend Landscape and identifying opportunities for cost savings
- Partner with VP, Corporate Controller in driving system integration plans and tracking expected software synergies for acquisitions, as applicable
WITHIN SIX MONTHS, YOU’LL:
- Implement Salesloft’s NextGen procurement software flawlessly and roll the solution out to the entire business
- Continue to enhance the procurement strategy, including identifying Salesloft’s preferred terms and payment methods with suppliers - ensuring compliance with these requirements
- Partner with the Corporate Accounting team to ensure a smooth process and transition between procurement and accounting, driving an exceptional vendor experience while also effectively driving positive working capital results for Salesloft
WITHIN TWELVE MONTHS, YOU’LL:
- Be known throughout Salesloft as the Procurement leader and expert
- Have driven significant cost savings through proactive foresight and executing on the procurement vision
- Have played a key role in Salesloft’s FY26 financial planning
- Be looking forward to how you can continue to elevate the procurement function to new heights in the following twelve months.
