At Salesloft, our Senior Manager, Product Marketing will be pivotal to our company’s success. You will be a key member of our fast-growing and high-performing product marketing team focused on driving the adoption, advocacy, and community engagement of our customer army.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for leading the technical product marketing team designed to create and tell the platform narrative, launch new products, influence product roadmap and be the subject matter experts of our products and best practices.

  • Define the strategic narrative for Salesloft’s product and capabilities based on an understanding of customer needs, use cases, product roadmap, and market trends.
  • Become the trusted GTM partner to the product team and establish a continuous feedback loop that encompasses customer input, market trends, and competitive factors to influence product development.
  • Lead a team of entry level to senior product marketers and help them grow in their careers.
  • Manage successful launches by supporting the go-to-market strategy efforts including positioning, messaging, analyst and market communications, demos, etc.
  • Be seen as a thought-leader and industry expert, staying up-to-date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
  • Design and construct sales enablement sessions, collateral and other materials to educate our sales, sales engineering, support and customer success teams on new products.

The product marketing team consists of results oriented SaaS marketing professionals with a strong mentality and desire to win in our market. They understand our buyers (sales, marketing & customer success leaders, sales & revenue operations) and users (sales & customer facing teams) and can partner closely with internal teams and work closely with our customers and prospects. The professionals on our product marketing team share a few common traits: they are smart, analytical, creative problem solvers, self-motivated, ambitious, and passionate about helping our teams evangelizing Salesloft.


  • BA/BS, preferably in business, marketing, statistics, computer science or a related discipline. MBA is preferred
  • 8 or more years of experience in enterprise, B2B software sales engineering, product management, product marketing or consulting
  • Proven ability leading a team of product marketers, with a passion for coaching, mentoring, and upskilling your team
  • Experience analyzing and developing strong point-of-view on customer adoption and community
  • Superb analytical and quantitative skills in gathering information from various sources and teasing out the “so-what” and effectively communicating differentiated positioning to our teams
  • High level of empathy - it’s important for our product marketers to be strong partners to their marketing peers, internal partners and customers
  • Experience in a direct sales role or a sales-specialist role strongly preferred
  • Experience with sales or marketing technology applications is strongly preferred


  • Attend Salesloft’s New Hire Orientation, where you will learn our Salesloft story and understand what makes our “Lofters” unique
  • Join our 3-week Sales Bootcamp, where you will learn our software and all the skills necessary to set you up for success, allowing you to make an impact in the market quickly
  • Begin 1:1’s with your manager, understand your 30-6-90 plan, meet & shadow current members of the Salesloft team, and delve into your territory
  • Set your OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) with your manager and develop an action plan to achieve them
  • Meet key partners in product management, sales, customer success and the other marketing departments.
  • Become demo certified


  • Understand the Sales Engagement market and players
  • Understand Salesloft capabilities deeply and how they compare to other alternative solutions in the market


  • Be viewed as a subject matter expert on our market and competitors


  • Be considered a top-performing member of the product marketing team
  • Set an example for new marketers and product marketers and assist in training, onboarding and motivating new Lofters

Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.

The total compensation package for this position may also include performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
