Forward Deployed Engineer

The Role

We're looking for founding Forward Deployed Engineers who will be the engineer closest to the customer — embedding in their workflows post-sale, building on their actual data, and turning what our Sales Engineers proved in the POC into a production-grade, deeply integrated solution. You'll see how investors actually work up close — their messy data environments, their internal systems, their workarounds — and translate what you learn into platform improvements that benefit every customer.

What You'll Do

• Embed with customers post-sale — build custom integrations and pipelines directly on their data, in their environment.

• Troubleshoot and optimize — debug retrieval quality, LLM performance, and data ingestion on real customer data.

• Be the technical voice of customer — you'll see platform gaps before anyone else, and often just build the fix.

• Partner with AI Deployment Managers to drive adoption and unlock new use cases.

• Turn the best of what you build for one customer into features for everyone.

What You Have

• 2–5+ years as a software engineer, solutions engineer, or FDE — ideally at a company where you shipped directly to customers.

• Strong technical foundation — proficient in Python and SQL; comfortable working across the stack.

• Comfortable with messy, real-world data — PDFs, Excel models, inconsistent formats. You know how to wrangle it.

• Familiar with AI/ML concepts — RAG, embeddings, LLMs, retrieval systems. You don't train models, but you debug and optimize them.

• High agency — something breaks on-site with a customer, you fix it, not file a ticket.

• Technically curious — you want to understand how customers' systems actually work.

• Strong communicator — you turn customer pain into engineering priorities.

• Familiarity with financial services is a plus.
