As an Associate Operations Specialist, you are an early‑career operations and support professional responsible for ensuring the stability, reliability, and smooth functioning of integration and automation solutions across Deltek products. You act as a key point of contact for operational issues, working closely with Tier‑2 Support, Developers, QC Engineers, and cross‑functional teams to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents.
This role emphasizes problem solving, ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning, providing a strong foundation for growth in integration operations, SaaS support, and technical operations within a global delivery organization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Incident Management & Operations Support: Provide Level1 operational support for integration and automation solutions. Take ownership of incidents reported via ticketing tools and drive them toward resolution in line with defined SLAs.
- Issue Analysis & Troubleshooting: Perform initial analysis and troubleshooting of reported issues, identify root causes, and document findings clearly. Escalate complex issues to Tier‑2 or engineering teams with complete context.
- Escalation & Communication: Handle escalations proactively, ensuring timely updates to stakeholders. Communicate incident status, impact, and resolution clearly across teams.
- Process Adherence & Compliance: Follow established incident management, quality, security, and operational processes. Ensure adherence to SLAs, escalation protocols, and documentation standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with consultants, developers, QC engineers, cloud operations, and support teams during triage, investigation, and resolution of operational issues.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor dashboards and tools for alerts, spikes, or anomalies related to integrations and automation. Report trends, recurring issues, and potential risks.
- Documentation & Knowledge Management: Maintain accurate incident records, resolution notes, and operational documentation to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Continuous Learning: Actively learn Deltek products, integration platforms, automation solutions, and operational best practices to improve effectiveness and ownership over time.
- Academic qualification: Bachelor’s degree (or final‑year student) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Project experience: Entry‑level experience through academic projects, internships, labs, or personal/open‑source projects.
- Development & Engineering Practices: Knowledge of object-oriented programming, core software development principles, and computer science fundamentals such as data structures, algorithms, and logical problem solving.
- Analytical and Problem‑Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to learn and apply new concepts quickly
- Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to participate in technical discussions and explain ideas clearly.

- Programming Fundamentals: Basic proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, JavaScript (Node.js preferred), Java, or C/C++, with an understanding of object‑oriented programming concepts.
- Computer Science Foundations: Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and basic software design principles gained through academic or project work.
- Web & Integration (Exposure): Introductory experience with web applications, APIs, integrations, or automation through coursework or hands‑on projects.
- Testing & Debugging: Basic Understanding of unit testing, debugging, and defect fixing as part of the development lifecycle.
- Tools & Platforms (Exposure): Familiarity with development tools such as IDEs, version control (Git), and basic build or deployment concepts.
- AI Tools (Plus): Hands-on experience or foundational knowledge of AI/LLM-based tools (such as AI assistants or copilots) and prompt engineering.
- Databases & SQL (Plus): Basic understanding of databases and the ability to write simple SQL queries for data validation is an added advantage
