Position Responsibilities
Roles and Responsibilities
- Takes responsibility, with minimal supervision, for all aspects of documentation projects, including planning, researching, scheduling, and creating content as well as working with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
- Participates in moderately complex to complex projects.
- Collaborates with stakeholders, understanding their needs and requirements as well as providing input.
- Develops a solid understanding of different areas of a Deltek product and the types of businesses Deltek serves.
- Has a working understanding of the industry for a Deltek product and can identify topics that are relevant for the customers.
- Participates in process improvement by identifying key issues and developing and evaluating ideas to formulate a solution.
- Contributes to the creation and implementation of a training plan or a learning path.
- Fosters a supportive and friendly team that values inclusivity and is invested in learning, knowledge sharing, and each other.
Tools Proficiency
- Uses authoring tools independently.
- Leverages existing tools to automate work.
- Updates project tracking tools regularly.
- Use AI tools to assist with routine tasks (e.g., drafting emails, summarizing meetings).
- Improve personal productivity (e.g., proofreading, scheduling) using AI applications.
- Apply AI to enhance content creation, including developing learning materials, editing audio, and enhancing video content (e.g., generating presentations or training videos from transcripts).
- Automate multi-step manual tasks and workflows using AI tools.
- Identify opportunities to embed AI into existing workflows.
- Design and implement AI-enhanced processes to improve efficiency and outcomes.
- Strong English writing skills, including the ability to organize and present complex technical information.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong technical aptitude and understanding of software development processes.
- Experience with XML authoring tools and content management systems.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite as well as collaboration and source-control tools.
