What You'll Do

Requirements Gathering & Analysis

• Conduct comprehensive source system analysis and data profiling to understand data structures, quality patterns, and embedded business rules
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings to gather detailed requirements, clarify business logic, and validate transformation rules
• Perform thorough gap analysis between source and target systems to proactively identify data conversion challenges
• Create detailed functional specifications and comprehensive source-to-target mapping documents

Solution Design & Validation

• Design sophisticated data transformation logic and business rules for technical implementation
• Develop robust test scenarios and validation frameworks to ensure data integrity throughout migration processes
• Review and approve Data Developer SQL implementations against your functional specifications
• Collaborate on Airflow DAG configuration and setup, providing essential business context for proper orchestration

Quality Assurance & Stakeholder Management

• Lead comprehensive data reconciliation efforts and coordinate user acceptance testing with client stakeholders
• Investigate and resolve data discrepancies, partnering with Data Developers to implement targeted corrections
• Maintain clear communication channels with clients throughout the engagement lifecycle

Continuous Improvement & Mentorship

• Leverage and enhance reusable function libraries, providing actionable feedback on usability and suggesting improvements
• Champion the adoption of standardized tools and templates across the broader team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in data migration or ETL projects
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Experience with SQL and data profiling tool
• Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders
• Experience with requirements gathering and functional specification documentation
• Understanding of data quality principles and validation methodologies
