Position Overview

Deltek Professional Services is seeking an Implementation Consultant to guide professional services firms through the successful adoption of industry-leading ERP solutions, including Deltek Vantagepoint and Deltek Maconomy. In this hands-on consulting role, you will combine financial systems expertise, business process knowledge, and client-facing consulting skills to deliver impactful ERP implementations — from initial configuration through post-launch optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Support SMB customers through end-to-end ERP implementations, including system configuration, solution setup, and go-live readiness
• Guide clients through transitions from legacy accounting and finance systems to Deltek ERP platforms
• Conduct virtual consulting and training sessions to educate users on system functionality and best practices
• Assess client business processes and recommend improvements aligned with ERP capabilities
• Troubleshoot and resolve implementation challenges while maintaining project timelines and deliverables
• Collaborate with project managers, coordinators, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of implementation methodologies and internal best practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related field
• 1+ years of experience in Accounting, Finance, Business Operations, ERP systems, or business systems support
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to deliver virtual presentations and training
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a remote work environment
• Customer-focused mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Some experience with ERP or financial systems such as Deltek Vantagepoint, Maconomy, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or Sage
• Some prior involvement in ERP implementations, finance system migrations, or process improvement initiatives
• Some exposure to consulting, client training, or customer-facing roles
• Some familiarity with professional services or project-based business environments
• Interest in leveraging tools, including AI, to improve workflows and implementation efficiency
