Position Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end billing operations, including order entry, invoice preparation, review, and submission.
- Ensure billing accuracy and compliance with contractual terms and company policies, collaborate with teams to ensure revenue accuracy.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies and support client needs.
- Support the analysis of billing data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Identify and raise issues, participate in issue resolution.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of billing procedures and client requirements.
- Support audits and provide necessary documentation for financial reviews.
- Assist in the implementation of new billing systems and process enhancements.
- Respond to client inquiries regarding invoices and billing processes in a timely and professional manner.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in billing, financial operations, or related roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in financial systems, CRM, and billing software.
- Experience with processing various billing models (i.e., recurring, subscription, usage)
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Knowledge of billing processes in a corporate environment.
- Basic understanding of revenue recognition principles.
- Experience with process improvement initiatives.
- Familiarity with audit procedures and compliance standards.
- Certification in finance or accounting (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plu s.
