This role owns the product vision, roadmap, and quality for AI agents supporting sales and marketing teams. The AI Product Manager translates business needs into clear requirements, partners closely with AI engineers, and ensures AI solutions deliver meaningful, trusted value to GTM users.

This role is ideal for a product manager with recent hands-on exposure to AI agents or LLM-powered products, and familiarity with sales and/or marketing workflows in a GTM environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the product vision, roadmap, and requirements for GTM AI agents supporting sales and marketing teams
  • Translate seller, manager, and leadership needs into clear, actionable AI requirements
  • Partner with AI engineers and solution partners to drive timely delivery and continuous improvement
  • Define and track success metrics for AI agents, including quality, usability, adoption, and business impact
  • Prioritize features, enhancements, and iterations based on feedback, usage, and business value
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and technical teams
  • Ensure AI agents integrate effectively with existing GTM systems, data, and workflows

Growth & Opportunity

This role offers the opportunity to shape how AI is embedded into Deltek’s GTM organization, with increasing ownership as the GTM AI portfolio expands. As AI capabilities mature, this role can grow into broader ownership across multiple AI-driven products and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or product/technology certifications preferred
  • Several years of experience (typically 5+ years or equivalent) in product management, product operations, or closely related roles supporting software, data, or technology-enabled products
  • Proven ability to translate ambiguous business problems into clear product requirements, prioritized roadmaps, and delivery plans
  • Demonstrated experience establishing and running core product management processes, including requirements intake, prioritization, delivery cadence, and success metrics
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience partnering across business and technical teams
  • Comfort operating in fast-paced, evolving environments with competing priorities and incomplete information

Preferred (AI & Applied Product)

  • 1–2 years of experience working with AI-enabled or LLM-based products, features, or workflows (or equivalent hands-on exposure through product ownership, pilots, or close partnership with technical teams)
  • Experience with or strong understanding of AI agents, agent orchestration, or prompt-driven workflows
  • Comfort partnering closely with engineers, data teams, and AI practitioners to drive iteration and improvement (hands-on development not required)
  • Experience defining and evaluating success metrics for AI-powered products, including quality, usability, and adoption
  • Exposure to GTM, sales, marketing, or customer-facing workflows is a plus

Attributes

  • Product-minded with a strong bias toward execution and outcomes
  • Structured thinker who brings clarity to ambiguous problem spaces
  • Curious and motivated to learn emerging AI capabilities and best practices
  • Comfortable owning decisions and tradeoffs while balancing speed and quality
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and effective working with global or distributed teams
