Overview The Associate Director, Partner Direct will manage the daily tactical execution of media plans while developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and external media partners. This role is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating multi-channel media programs that align with client objectives. The ideal candidate will bring innovative thinking to healthcare media planning, fostering strategic partnerships and expanding marketplace expertise. This position reports to the Director, Partner Direct. Responsibilities Media Strategy & Execution Lead the development and execution of innovative, multi-channel healthcare media plans. Ensure all media recommendations align with broader client strategies and objectives. Oversee the daily execution of Partner Direct team tasks, ensuring adherence to timelines and deliverables. Lead tactical media plan presentations to internal and client teams. Conduct rate negotiations and secure optimal media placements. Develop POVs on emerging media partners and industry trends. Industry & Market Expertise Maintain a strong understanding of the agency’s workflow and internal processes. Develop deep knowledge of client business objectives and how they translate into media investment strategies. Stay informed about the evolving media marketplace, partnership opportunities, and deal structures. Navigate planning systems and tools to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness. Team Leadership & Collaboration Provide mentorship, guidance, and delegation to team members, ensuring smooth operations. Manage team assignments, balancing workload and priorities effectively. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment. Offer clear, regular communication on client goals, project priorities, and success metrics. Provide actionable feedback to junior team members to support professional growth. Build strong working relationships with client contacts. Strengthen partnerships with key media vendors and internal Groupe teams, including APEX and PMX. Support new business initiatives as needed. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in media planning and strategy Healthcare or pharmaceutical media experience preferred 2+ years of people management experience, including team development and mentorship 2+ years of experience across at least four media channels, such as: Digital (Endemic & Lifestyle) Video Print Out-of-Home (OOH) Healthcare Professionals (HCP) targeting Payer/Managed Markets Strong presentation and communication skills, with experience writing, proofreading, editing and presenting client-facing materials. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
