Overview The Account Director is a senior client partner responsible for the overall health, direction, and performance of integrated client engagements. This role focuses on senior relationship leadership, strategic stewardship, and enabling high‑performing teams, rather than day‑to‑day execution. Account Directors at CoLab lead through influence, clarity, and trust — empowering Account Supervisors and Delivery partners to run the work while they focus on client partnership, decision‑making, and long‑term value creation. Responsibilities Senior Client Leadership Own and lead senior‑level client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and escalation point Navigate ambiguity, change, and complexity with confidence and sound judgment Partner with clients to shape engagement models, priorities, and ways of working — not just deliverables Strategic Stewardship Ensure work aligns to client business objectives, brand strategy, and CoLab’s integrated approach Guide strategic direction in partnership with Strategy leads and Account Supervisors Maintain a strong point of view while creating space for teams to do their best work Team Enablement & Leadership Lead and develop Account Supervisors and Managers, coaching them on decision‑making, client leadership, and growth Foster a culture of accountability, trust, and collaboration across disciplines Contribute to hiring and succession planning for account teams Operational Accountability (Through Partnership) Partner with Delivery and Operations to ensure accounts are well‑resourced, financially healthy, and set up for success Focus on risk management, prioritization, and trade‑offs rather than day‑to‑day process execution Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required 8+ years of experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical marketing (Rx and/or OTC), with progressive responsibility in account leadership roles Proven experience leading senior-level client relationships, including navigating complex collaborators and blocking issues Demonstrated ability to lead through Account Supervisors and Managers, developing talent and enabling high‑performing teams Experience overseeing integrated, omni‑channel engagements across strategy, creative, media, data, and production Strong understanding of regulated marketing environments and enterprise‑level client needs Sound judgment, executive presence, and the ability to make clear decisions in ambiguous or fast‑changing situations Excellent communication and presentation skills, particularly in senior‑level and hybrid client environments Additional information Our Publicis Groupe motto “Viva La Différence” means we’re better together, and we believe that our differences make us stronger. Compensation Range: $97,375.00 - $155,961.00 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
