Overview The Business Strategy Director role is a pivotal leadership position designed to spearhead strategic initiatives for a top tier Global technology client. This role is tasked with developing transformative strategies that synthesize data-driven insights, creative innovation, and media execution to deliver measurable business outcomes. By aligning market-specific strategies with broader organizational goals, the Director ensures a unified and impactful approach to business growth and brand evolution. The Business Strategy Director serves as a primary architect for strategic frameworks that drive ROI and optimize marketing investments across the US. This position is central to the organization's operations, focusing on the integration of advanced analytics and creative storytelling to solve complex business challenges. The Director acts as a bridge between high-level vision and local execution, ensuring that every strategic initiative is both innovative and grounded in the realities of the US consumer landscape. Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Design and implement integrated communication strategies. Simplify client inputs to identify the critical jobs to be done with communications Leverage data and insights to optimize marketing spend. Develop full-funnel strategies balancing brand growth with performance. Bring a deep understanding of diverse, target consumers and champion that consumer to create experiences they will want to engage with Demonstrate authority to deliver strong and substantiated data led recommendations to both internal and external audiences and show the ability to quickly pivot course-based learnings from on-going, inclusive insights Innovation & Transformation Integrate cutting-edge digital and technological solutions. Pioneer data utilization and personalization at scale. Champion emerging trends in consumer behavior and media. Identify opportunities upstream to leverage content and media partnerships to supercharge media plans Proactively ideate with team and colleagues to produce novel (award-worthy) solutions for clients Market Connector Act as a trusted advisor to senior clients and business leads in strategy implementation. Provide training and guidance for tool and research development. Act as a “connector” across disciplines both internally and externally with partners and clients Scope of Work The scope of this role encompasses the full lifecycle of strategic development and execution. The Business Strategy Director is responsible for establishing the account or business unit as a benchmark for excellence within the industry. This involves not only the creation of innovative strategies but also the continuous measurement of their effectiveness against global business objectives. Furthermore, the Director is tasked with bringing "currency to clients" by staying ahead of market trends and leveraging organizational capabilities to champion a culture of testing and innovation. Qualifications The ideal candidate for the Business Strategy Director position will possess a robust background in strategic planning and a deep understanding of the US digital and media ecosystem. They must be a visionary leader capable of navigating the complexities of the modern media landscape while maintaining a steadfast focus on delivering tangible business results. Professional Experience: 5-8+ years of experience in media, creative, or digital strategy with a proven track record in US-based account management. Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of digital ecosystems, data-driven marketing, and full-funnel strategic frameworks. Cognitive Skills: Exceptional analytical and creative thinking; ability to communicate complex ideas with clarity and simplicity. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
