Overview Our success in Ad Operations comes from handling digital ad campaigns, preventing ad fraud, and integrating multiple platforms. The Director, AdOps plays a vital role on the team by leading the technical execution of digital campaigns, including ad trafficking and tagging. They are also responsible for crafting, developing, and rolling out campaign operational processes together with internal and external contacts to ensure digital media plans achieve their goals. Responsibilities Lead campaign execution and coordinate process evolution in partnership with Vice Presidents and Associate Directors, ensuring operational excellence and scalable workflows. Coordinate the activation of digital campaigns across display, video, social, mobile, gaming, and programmatic channels, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with media strategy. Facilitate strategic dialogues with clients and media teams about technology integrations, uncovering chances to increase efficiency, elevate data quality, and activate advanced capabilities. Coordinate the trafficking process across the team, ensuring accuracy and consistency in campaign setup, including ownership of complex implementations such as Floodlight tags, DMP integrations, network configurations, and advanced tracking solutions. Drive operational excellence through the development of effective methods, refining workflows, and consistently identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and quality in campaign execution. Partner with Ad Tech leadership to build and implement standardized processes, QA frameworks, and governance to minimize errors and ensure consistent execution across accounts. Serve as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting technical issues, collaborating directly with media teams, creative agencies, platform partners, and vendors to resolve customer concerns efficiently. Act as a Subject Matter Expert and inspiring leader across ad technology platforms. Provide mentorship to internal teams and share viewpoints on new technologies, industry trends, and platform capabilities. Manage and mentor Analyst and Senior Analysts, providing coaching, technical mentorship, and professional development to strengthen team capabilities and ensure high-quality output. Coordinate work across multiple clients, ensuring consistent execution, sharing guidelines across teams, and driving standardization and continuous improvement across accounts. Qualifications 7+ years of experience in digital media (agency or publisher side) Experience with training and development, as the role involves both doing your work and supporting others on the team in their pursuit of excellence Experience with digital platforms – familiar with the details of second- and third-party vendors, ad servers across various formats (display, video, social, mobile), Tag Management Systems (GTM, Adobe, Signal, etc.), and/or VVF vendors (viewability, verification, and fraud prevention) Our clients are primarily Google CM360, Flashtalking, and Innovid users, so please tell us about your ad server experience especially in self-service capacity. Also don’t be shy about your expertise with floodlights, rich media, etc. Knowledge/experience with Google Marketing Platform and Mobile Measurement Platforms like Branch, Appsflyer, Firebase, and Kochava Experience with Conversion API implementation across different social platforms Skills in QA’ing ad tags and conversion tags in a browser environment or tag diagnostic tool are key Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel At Publicis, we believe in the power of collaboration and inclusion. Compensation Range: $121,315.00 - $194,220.00 Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
