Overview We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with Manager-level maturity to design, build, and own the data foundations that power analytics, optimization, AI/ML, and advanced decisioning platforms. This role is hands-on and composes system architecture, with end-to-end ownership across data pipeline creation, platform standards, and production reliability, while also influencing roadmap direction and mentoring other engineers. Responsibilities People & Project Management Manage day-to-day activities of data engineers and ensure successful project execution Provide mentorship, performance feedback, and coaching Plan sprint work, track progress, and ensure adherence to standards Technical Delivery Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks, Python, SQL, storage accounts (Azure Blob or S3) and Azure or AWS services Support data modeling, schema design, and cloud resource configuration Troubleshoot pipeline and infrastructure issues Collaboration Partner with analytics, product, and business teams to understand requirements Communicate status, risks, and technical considerations effectively Optimization & Quality Improve reliability, performance, and documentation of pipelines Implement testing, monitoring, and data quality checks Qualifications 4+ years of data engineering experience Familiarity with cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Services (Redshift, S3, Glue, Lambda) or Azured-based systems (Microsoft Fabric preferred) Strong proficiency with programming languages such as Python, R or SQL Experience with AzureDevOps or Git code repositories Experience leading team members or projects The following experience is a plus: Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) and data science ecosystems (Pandas, R, Alteryx) Experience managing Microsoft Fabric setups Experience in CI\CD and DevOps setups a plus Additional information Our Publicis Groupe motto “Viva La Différence” means we’re better together, and we believe that our differences make us stronger. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met.
