The Role
As a Partner Operations Manager at Layer, you’ll own the post-sale execution that turns signed customers into live embedded accounting partnerships. You’ll work directly with our SMB platform customers to launch their embedded accounting products and onboard their SMBs to our AI bookkeeping services, ensuring our customers are as successful as possible.
What you do will vary from week to week, but key responsibilities include:
Serve as the primary point of contact for SMB platform customers post-sale, owning day-to-day execution and follow-through
Guide customers through planning, integrating, and launching accounting and bookkeeping powered by Layer
Work directly with customers’ sales & marketing teams to support GTM initiatives and drive early traction
Onboard customers’ SMBs to Layer’s AI bookkeeping services and ensure a smooth, high-quality experience

An ideal candidate will have a few years of experience in a role such as:
Early-stage startup BizOps or Customer Ops
Management consulting or investment banking with significant ownership of execution
Any role that required exceptional independent execution and stakeholder management
Strength with tools like Excel, SQL, etc. is helpful, but the drive to be excellent and hunger to learn matters much more to us.
