The Manager, Total Rewards role will have the opportunity to shape our overall total rewards strategy, including cash, equity and benefits strategy. This role is essential to designing and evolving Ironclad’s competitive, equitable, and scalable reward programs to attract, retain, and motivate top global talent. Aligning the business and people strategies, this role will lead the evolution of our foundational total rewards programs with an eye towards globally competitive programs as the company continues to scale.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who is interested in building an impactful total rewards strategy for a fast growing, global company. The ideal candidate for the role will be a strategic, collaborative, data-driven total rewards practitioner with the ability to translate business challenges into actionable solutions. This role is more than just maintaining rewards programs—it’s about continuously evolving them to meet business needs and market trends. You will play a pivotal role in benchmarking and maintaining competitive compensation structures, administering and growing global benefits programs while ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry best practices.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Ironclad executive team and People team to ensure the rewards strategy aligns with overall business objectives.
Conduct benchmarking efforts to assess market trends and adjust programs accordingly, both within programmatic cycles and ad hoc using established resources and networks.
Drive communications and education initiatives around compensation and benefits to ensure employee understanding and participation.
Advise key partners and leaders on Total Rewards best practices and help identify and communicate tradeoffs
Manage compensation coordinator role, supporting on quantitative projects and employee requests.
In partnership with a broader team, manage and administer all annual compensation and benefit life cycle moments including compensation planning and review cycles, pay equity reviews, benefits renewals, open enrollment, and other key events while interlocking and balancing other programmatic needs within the company.
Administer global leaves of absence in partnership with leave administration and compliance vendors.
Ability to recognize when a program or practice is no longer working as needed, call it out and propose alternatives for consideration.
Own and operate compensation-related systems within People tech stack.
Lead and support recognition programs through analyzing data, ad-hoc reporting and providing support to employee inquiries, as needed.
Establish and measure key compensation and benefit program metrics. Regularly benchmark company programs and monitor external trends to proactively adjust company plans and programs to ensure market competitiveness.
Build collaborative and healthy cross-functional relationships with key partners including Legal, Finance, Business Operations, Sales Operations, and various leaders across the company.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
7+ years of experience in supporting and building Total Rewards programs in high growth, maturing organizations, including managing a team.
Solid foundation and understanding of Total Rewards best practices and core competencies.
In-house experience managing Total Rewards programs.
Proven ability to track, prioritize and drive to success multiple concurrent projects.
Analytical with the ability to influence leadership using a mix of stories and data.
Highest levels of integrity, empathy, and management of confidential information.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to present complex information clearly and can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams across all levels of the organization.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Preferred systems experience: Radford, Pave, Carta, Bamboo.
