Are you interested in becoming a key sales team hire at a category-defining company supported by Silicon Valley’s top investors? Ironclad is looking for a Commercial Sales Manager to help drive our rapid growth and make a significant impact on our revenue and retention goals. The ideal candidate will have experience scaling sales teams, excellent communication skills, and a knack for understanding and addressing customer needs.
Responsibilities:
Own and optimize repeatable sales processes, driving revenue growth and customer retention to achieve sales targets and objectives.
Oversee the team’s long-term strategy while managing daily operations.
Recruit, hire, and retain a growing team of Account Managers.
Empower your team with scalable systems and coach Account Managers by teaching best practices in prospecting, managing, and closing opportunities. Develop their skills to meet customer needs and position Ironclad as an industry leader.
Foster and build upon a team culture that is positive, motivating, and performance-driven.
Track and report key growth metrics to assess individual and team performance.
Collaborate closely with the Sales Leadership Team to achieve results.
Demonstrate an ownership mentality and a deep commitment to customer success.
Requirements:
5+ years of sales experience in a B2B SaaS environment, with 1+ years of management experience preferred.
A proven track record of exceeding individual contributor quotas, with the ability to train Account Managers to achieve success in their roles.
Expertise in navigating and leading multi-stakeholder sales processes, from engaging executive decision-makers to everyday product users, with a focus on delivering customer value and achieving target outcomes.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to "read the room" and a passion for recruiting, hiring, and managing high-performing sales teams.
Enthusiasm for building scalable systems, coupled with analytical skills to optimize them over time.
Exceptional ability to build trust and collaborate effectively with diverse groups inside and outside the company.
Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented, with strong follow-through on projects and tasks of all sizes.
A drive to refine and advance sales playbooks while strengthening team and company culture.

OTE Range: $220,000 - $260,000
The OTE range represents the minimum and maximum of the OTE range for this position based at our San Francisco headquarters. The OTE offered for this position will depend on numerous factors, including individual proficiency, anticipated performance, and the location of the selected candidate.
