Impartner is seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented Accounting Manager, Revenue to lead our financial operations related to revenue accounting. This role is critical for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, particularly concerning revenue recognition, deferred revenue, and accounts receivable (contracts to cash). As the Accounting Manager, you will collaborate cross-functionally, drive process improvements, and provide strategic financial insights that support business growth and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage GL Close Process: Lead and ensure timely, accurate month-end close processes, specifically focusing on key accounts such as revenue, deferred revenue, accounts receivable, and sales tax.
  • Policy and Process Improvement: Develop, implement, and continuously improve formal processes and policies related to bookings, invoicing, and collections.
  • Systems Enhancement: Collaborate with the Controller and accounting team to optimize accounting IT systems for billing and collections, ensuring smooth operations and accurate data flow.
  • Audit Support: Prepare and deliver required reporting for the annual external audit, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Tax Compliance: Manage compliance and analysis for Federal, State, Corporate and Sales & Use taxes.
  • Accounts Receivable and Collections: Oversee the AR process, including credit and collections.
  • US GAAP Expertise: Conduct research on US GAAP and apply accounting best practices (e.g., ASC 606 on Revenue Recognition) to enhance financial operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3+ years in accounting and/or finance, with a focus on SaaS or software industries.
  • Proven experience as an Accounting Manager, Supervisor, or Finance Manager, with a proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel and Word; familiarity with PowerPoint is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of revenue accounting standards (ASC 606), and experience with deferred revenue, sales tax, and accounts receivable.
  • Able to handle large datasets while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Previous experience working in the B2B software/SaaS industry.
  • Previous exposure to process automation and financial systems integration.
  • Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to work cross-functionally and partner with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Able to meet deadlines and adapt to a rapidly changing environment, demonstrating flexibility and resilience.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to personal and professional development, with a "grit" mindset open to feedback and growth.
