About The Role

Reporting to the VP of FP&A, the FP&A Director role is a key leader in shaping our company’s financial strategy and operational excellence. Working closely with the FP&A and Accounting teams, this role will own key elements of the annual operating plan, partner cross-functionally with leaders across GTM and Marketing Solutions, and deliver the insights that guide business decisions. You’ll combine hands-on financial modeling expertise with strategic foresight to ensure we scale effectively and sustainably.

In This Role, You Will:

Deliver Data-Driven Financial Analysis (30%)

  • Design, build, and refine sophisticated and accurate financial models (3 statement model, revenue models) that deliver actionable insights to leadership — enabling smarter capital allocation, prioritization of investments, and identification of growth opportunities while mitigating risks.

  • Assess and evaluate company performance against goals, budgets, and forecasts, delivering monthly executive-ready analysis in collaboration with FP&A and Accounting.

  • Ensure financial perspectives are front and center in performance discussions, enabling business leaders to make data-driven, forward-looking decisions. Analyze trends to identify opportunities and mitigate risks in investment and spending decisions. This includes working closely with BizOps on M&A deal models, identifying and enabling growth levers in the business, and bringing strategic insights to business partners.

Partner Across the Organization (30%)

  • Collaborate with Revenue Operations to align targets with the revenue plan in addition to ARR forecasting to ensure targets are data-driven, achievable, and strategically aligned.

  • Work with Employee Success on hiring and recruiting plans, creating a standardized process for Finance review and approvals.

  • Coordinate with GTM and Marketing Solutions business leaders to evaluate proposals, new initiatives, and potential risks, helping shape future roadmaps.

Own Finance Execution in Annual Planning & Operating Rhythm (30%)

  • Support the creation of the annual operating plan, building robust financial models and aligning with GTM leaders on key spend priorities.

  • Partner with the SLT to embed financial insights into the company’s operating rhythm, owning Finance’s role in business reviews.

  • Enhance accuracy and efficiency in budget modeling within our planning tool (Adaptive).

Lead & Transform the Finance Function (10%)

  • Elevate the FP&A team from a reporting function to a strategic thought partner that drives business decisions.

  • Build a culture of proactive insight, business partnership, and operational excellence.

  • Mentor and develop team members to think beyond the spreadsheet - linking financial analysis directly to business strategy.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in consulting, banking, FP&A or related fields

  • Advanced expertise in Excel and financial modeling

  • Track record of thriving in fast-paced, high-growth environments with evolving priorities.

  • Proven experience using AI, automation, or advanced analytics to improve operational efficiency and decision-making.

  • A forward-thinking, curious mindset with a passion for exploring new tools, methods, and ideas to drive business impact.

  • Prior experience in B2B marketplaces or SaaS with exposure to multiple pricing models (e.g., subscription, usage-based, freemium-to-paid), and the ability to translate pricing strategy into financial impact.

  • Proficiency in ERP & BI tools (Adaptive, Intacct, Looker, or similar)

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to distill complex analyses into clear, executive-ready insights.
