About G2’s Intern Program
G2’s Intern Program is back for its 5th amazing summer! You’ll work closely with leaders and peers throughout the 10 weeks- focusing on making a real impact on G2, with a final presentation about your work to our Executive & Senior Leadership Teams. We’ve packed the summer full of professional development and social events to lay the foundation for your career, ensuring you’ll have a balanced experience over the course of the 10 weeks.
G2 Intern Program Details
- 10 weeks: June 2nd - August 8th
- Hybrid: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday required in-person at our Downtown Chicago HQ
- Pay: $20/hour; 40 hours a week
About The Role
G2 is looking for an Employee Success intern to join our team this summer, and support our Employee Experience (EX) and People Analytics Systems (PAS) team. Are you a creative, insightful, analytical college student? If so, come launch your HR career at G2! In this role, you will learn the ins and outs of EX & PAS, including experience in learning & development and DEI initiatives, employee engagement survey administration & analysis, creating and updating processes for our Employee Success team and analyzing people data to help our organization make better people-driven decisions.
As a member of the Employee Success team you will do the following:
- Assist with new hire onboarding & orientation for new employees, including pre-boarding activities, orientation sessions, and soliciting feedback
- In partnership with L&D lead and G2 teams, assist with creation of job family-specific career development paths (coordinating meetings, compiling materials, creating templates, and other support as needed)
- Help coordinate live learning workshops on soft skills topics such as communication skills, leadership development, and diversity and inclusion.
- Support the creation of e-learning modules and resources using WorkRamp, our learning management system (LMS), ensuring content is engaging, interactive, and aligned with learning objectives.
- Support the launch/analysis of our quarterly employee engagement survey
- Support our Employee Experience team with programming such as our mentoring program / DEI / ERGs (Employee Resource Groups)
- Learn how to enter and analyze people data in our HR systems (UKG, Charthop, Lattice)
- Learn how to manage employee inquiries in our helpdesk/ ticketing system, Zendesk
- Compile our 2025 Global Holidays Calendar
- Complete Stay Interviews with employees and help draw themes from feedback
- Collaborate with various ES Team members and other business partners to design, develop and implement HR operational improvements while focusing on optimization and efficiency
Requirements
- A rising Junior or Senior at an accredited college or university
- Attention to detail and concern for accuracy.
- Excellent organization skills (email, task management, follow-up)
- Self-motivated and able to work collaboratively and independently, delivering on assigned tasks and responsibilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
