Position Overview:
We're seeking a talented Application Security (AppSec) Engineer to spearhead the development of innovative products designed specifically for AppSec professionals. This role is an amalgamation of hands-on technical work and visionary product development, offering a unique opportunity to directly impact the future of application security tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Development: Collaborate with our product team to ideate, design, and develop state-of-the-art tools and solutions for AppSec engineers.
Security Analysis: Regularly test our in-development products for any vulnerabilities, ensuring we're delivering the best, and safest, tools to our users.
Feedback Integration: Work directly with potential end-users (AppSec engineers) to gather feedback and refine our products accordingly.
Trend Analysis: Stay updated with the latest in application security to ensure our products always meet the current needs of the industry.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in application security, preferably with experience in tool or product development. Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Rust, etc.) Demonstrated ability to think both as an AppSec professional and a solution designer. Familiarity with the current landscape of AppSec tools and their gaps.
