What your day-to-day will look like

  • Partner with the sales team as a SMB credit industry expert for technical Clearco prospect and customer conversations
  • Analyze financial & non-financial information to gain an understanding of how some of the best eCommerce companies in the world work
  • Understand, quantify and clearly describe / communicate the features, benefits and costs of Clearco’s product offering
  • Understand various / alternative sources of capital funding for our customers (including Clearco competitors) to ensure that customers are optimizing their mix of financing sources
  • Monitor performance of current customers in the portfolio and contribute to pricing strategy for new and existing products
  • Work with our analytics team to design tools that improve reporting quality and add insights
  • Develop a deep knowledge of industry, market and competitive trends and apply these to the Clearco sales process

You will thrive if you:

  • Have 3-6 years of experience in a finance / capital structure related role
  • Have an interest in lending and SMB credit and want to apply your knowledge to our novel portfolio
  • Have strong communication skills, confidence and a desire to combine technical acumen with the ability to participate in the sales process
  • Are able to clearly and persuasively communicate and discuss complex financial concepts to both sophisticated and less knowledgeable customers
  • Are independent, ambitious and self-motivated
  • Have a demonstrated understanding and knowledge of financial accounting
  • Are a strong team player with ability to get things done with an owner’s mindset
  • Have demonstrated interest in Fintech
  • Have experience working in a startup environment preferred but not required
