The Role

We are looking for a Director of Product Strategy to work directly with our Chief Product Officer and CEO. This is not a traditional product management role, nor is it a program management position. It is a highly strategic, high-visibility role focused on driving our AI transformation.

Your mission is to deeply understand our technical breakthroughs, AI capabilities, and strategic shifts, and use that understanding to architect our product strategy. Narrative is your primary weapon and outcome. You will take complex data models and GTM workflows and distill them into clear, decisive stories that convince audiences—whether that's our internal teams, our board, or our enterprise customers.

If you are a former top-tier consultant (Bain, McKinsey, BCG) who excels at sensemaking and executive communication, but wants to operate at the speed of a tech company rather than building endless slide decks for theoretical projects, this is the perfect fit.

The Shift: GTM as an Engineering Discipline

Go-to-market is undergoing a fundamental transition: it is no longer just an art of relationships and hustle; it is becoming a rigorous engineering discipline. In this new era, ZoomInfo's context graph—our proprietary, interconnected web of B2B data, intent signals, and company relationships—becomes one of the most valuable assets in AI and go-to-market.

This shifts our entire business model. The single most important thing we can do right now is to activate this strategy and drive growth by translating our data advantage into an undeniable market reality. You are the owner of making this happen.

What You'll Do

You will drive the strategic alignment of our AI transformation by partnering closely with Product, Marketing, and Sales leadership. You will help define what we make, for whom, and what we say about it, ensuring our product strategy translates into effective go-to-market motions. This requires sensemaking at scale—rapidly absorbing technical specifications, market dynamics, and competitive intelligence, and distilling them into clear, actionable strategic frameworks.

As the outcome of this strategic work, you will architect the AI narrative. You will develop comprehensive messaging frameworks that elucidate the power of ZoomInfo's AI capabilities and our unique place in the GTM ecosystem. This involves executive storytelling, working directly with the CPO and CEO to craft high-impact content, including executive talk tracks, board presentations, and strategic memos. Your goal is to turn complex product visions into "aha" moments for the organization.

Who You Are

You are a pragmatic doer. You are biased toward action and execution. You don't just build conceptual frameworks; you ship strategies that drive real business outcomes. You are an exceptional communicator who writes with clarity, density, and impact. You avoid fluff and corporate jargon, and you know how to structure an argument to persuade an executive audience.

You are a strategic thinker with a strong foundation in business strategy, likely honed at a top-tier management consulting firm (Bain, McKinsey, BCG). You understand market dynamics, competitive moats, and how to position a product for asymmetric upside. You are comfortable with complexity, able to dive deep into AI architecture, data models, and GTM workflows, and emerge with a simple, compelling strategy.

Finally, you are a fast operator. You thrive in high-velocity environments. You understand that speed is a competitive advantage and you operate with fast OODA loops.

Below is the US base salary for this position. Additional compensation such as Bonus, Commission, Equity and other benefits may also apply.
