The Senior Data Advisor is a seasoned B2B data expert with profound real-world experience in GTM operations (Sales Ops, Marketing Ops, RevOps) and emerging AI-driven data practices. In this pivotal role, the Advisor directly consults executive leadership at major enterprises, guiding their data and AI strategy to solve complex Go-To-Market challenges and accelerate ROI. Leveraging a deep understanding of data management, analytics, and modern AI capabilities, the Senior Data Advisor counsels clients on optimizing sales effectiveness and marketing precision through the recommended application of best practices, intelligent automation, and strategic frameworks enabling them to realize significant business value from premium DaaS and AI-powered offerings. This position focuses on scaling impact by serving as a trusted advisor to the biggest names in the industry, shaping their data- and AI-driven success through strategic guidance in building foundational data management
Role Overview
The Senior Data Advisor is a senior, customer-facing advisor with deep experience in Sales/Marketing Operations, RevOps, GTM Data, and/or Go-To-Market execution, paired with strong data fluency. In this role, the Senior Data Advisor works directly with executive leadership at enterprise customers to apply company, contact, and intent data to improve sales effectiveness, GTM execution, and revenue outcomes.
This position is strategy-led and data-enabled, focused on data management, analytics, and AI concepts for practical GTM decisions that drive measurable ROI from DaaS and AI-powered offerings.
What You'll Do
- Serve as a strategic advisor to senior sales, revenue, and GTM leaders, helping shape GTM data strategy, and productivity using data-driven insights
- Guide customers on the management of company, contact, and intent data for GTM use cases such as segmentation, hierarchy design, TAM, prioritization, and planning
- Lead strategic positioning of DaaS and AI-enabled capabilities in support of GTM data strategy and sales operations improvement
- Partner with clients on analytical assessments, workshops, and follow-ups to quantify business impact and ROI
- Translate data, analytics, and AI concepts into clear GTM data strategies and executive-ready recommendations
- Develop recommended data practices, playbooks, and reference guides to scale advisory impact
- Partner with Sales, Product, and Marketing teams to support enterprise opportunities, customer forums, and strategic initiatives
- Act as the Voice of the Customer, representing GTM data needs and use cases to internal stakeholders
- Support internal teams and account engagements on topics related to data management, analytics, and AI applications for GTM
- Performs other duties as required or assigned by manager
What You Bring
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Economics, or equivalent practical experience
- 7+ years of experience in Sales/Marketing Operations, RevOps, GTM Data Strategy
- Hands-on experience working with data, including analyzing, manipulating, and interpreting datasets to inform business decisions
- Strong understanding of company, hierarchy, and contact data and how it supports GTM execution
- Experience with building dashboards/reports, CRM strategy and Data Governance
- Ability to translate data and AI concepts into strategic business insights and quantify ROI
- Familiarity with AI concepts and analytics at a use-case and application level
- Excellent communication and executive presentation skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and comfort operating in fast-paced, customer-facing environments
- Collaborative mindset, partnering closely with Sales, Product, and Marketing teams
Preferred
- SQL or light Python experience
- Experience with DaaS platforms, enrichment tools, or API-based data solutions
- Exposure to AI-assisted analytics, forecasting, or automation
- Consulting or advisory experience with enterprise customers
