The Senior Data Advisor is a seasoned B2B data expert with profound real-world experience in GTM operations (Sales Ops, Marketing Ops, RevOps) and emerging AI-driven data practices. In this pivotal role, the Advisor directly consults executive leadership at major enterprises, guiding their data and AI strategy to solve complex Go-To-Market challenges and accelerate ROI. Leveraging a deep understanding of data management, analytics, and modern AI capabilities, the Senior Data Advisor counsels clients on optimizing sales effectiveness and marketing precision through the recommended application of best practices, intelligent automation, and strategic frameworks enabling them to realize significant business value from premium DaaS and AI-powered offerings. This position focuses on scaling impact by serving as a trusted advisor to the biggest names in the industry, shaping their data- and AI-driven success through strategic guidance in building foundational data management
Primary Duties:
- Lead strategic positioning initiatives for DaaS & ZoomInfo AI driven capabilities within the marketplace and client enterprise data ecosystems, focusing on data management areas including integration, hierarchies, stewardship, and insights to drive improved business outcomes
- Serve as a strategic advisor to key clients, helping shape their vision and digital transformation strategy while ensuring Zoominfo/DaaS and AI-enabled assets deliver maximum value
- Apply specialized expertise in enterprise data management, industry best practices, model-building, GenAI/LLM considerations and Zoominfo/DaaS data applications to guide clients to meet their specific business objectives
- Collaborate directly with clients on projects, proof-of-concepts, and analytical follow-ups to demonstrate and quantify the value created through Zoominfo/DaaS solutions
- Develop recommended practices and reference guides to help scale the team.
- Partner with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams to develop materials, lead customer forums, speak at industry conferences, and participate in activities that generate opportunities for our sales teams
- Act as the Voice of the Customer, advocating for client needs with internal partners, particularly with Product teams focused on Data Management, Content, Identity Resolution, Analytics and AI-driven functionality
- Support SC's/DC's and other roles internally and during account meetings in topics surrounding data management, GenAI fundamentals and AI readiness.
- Performs duties consistent with the Company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies.
- Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years in Data Analytics, Data Operations, Data Strategy, or GTM data functions.
- Skilled in SQL or Python skills for data manipulation, analytics, automation, and AI dataset preparation.
- Experience supporting data science workflows, machine learning pipelines, or model training.
- Knowledge of GenAI and LLM concepts, including embeddings, vector databases, prompt engineering, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
- Familiarity with LLMOps/MLOps practices, AI model evaluation, and deploying AI through cloud platforms (e.g., OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Vertex AI, Azure OpenAI).
- Understanding of agentic AI patterns, workflow orchestration, and AI-driven automation.
- Strong understanding of enterprise data management (integration, hierarchies, governance, identity resolution) and how these support AI readiness.
- Experience with data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) and ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Ability to translate complex data and AI concepts into strategic business insights and quantify ROI.
- Experience with DaaS solutions and API-driven enrichment; familiarity with AI-assisted enrichment a plus.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and comfort working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
- Excellent communication and executive presentation skills, especially explaining AI concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to train and mentor teams in data management, AI fundamentals, and AI use-case development.
- Collaborative mindset, working closely with Sales, Product, and Marketing to drive data- and AI-powered strategies.
