ServiceNow Product Owner

What you'll do

  • A liaison between the business and the platform team
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, document and analyze business requirements for ServiceNow solutions.
  • Conduct daily scrums, updating stories daily in ServiceNow documenting development progress, and collaborating across platform teams, Conduct sprint retrospective
  • Create and maintain system design and operations documentation
  • This role will also trouble-shoot workflow issues for users, write requirements, and perform test user functionality
  • Create test scripts for stakeholders
  • Ensures requirements are understood, developed, tested and delivered to specification
  • Owns the relationship with project stakeholders to identify, prioritize, model and document business, process and data requirements
  • Represents project stakeholders throughout planning, development and release processes
  • Works with the platform team to develop release estimates
  • Supports the testing and UAT efforts
  • Works with stakeholders to drive adoption

What you’ll bring

  • Must have experience using Scrum methodology to manage project workflow and requirements
  • Experience with Agile tools to manage workload, such as JIRA
  • Proficiency in using business analysis techniques (e.g., process mapping, use case analysis).
  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements and designing solutions.
  • Experience creating test scripts and perform test user functionality
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to partner with with team members and stakeholders to improve and optimize features, practices, processes, and operations
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute
  • Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and best practices
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 3 years of experience with ServiceNow
  • ServiceNow certification(s) such as Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) or Certified System Administrator (CSA) preferred
