We are building the data platform for blockchain, cryptocurrency, and web3. We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer (full stack) who will be critical to our mission and will be building and scaling the APIs and data layers our customers rely on every day to stop crime, understand risk, and strategize about their business. Our engineers deeply understand what is possible with cloud-native technologies and use those insights to enable our customers to push the boundaries of the cryptocurrency landscape.

Our Alterya team is focused on AI-powered fintech and threat intelligence, empowering institutions to protect individuals from fraud transactions. We're currently looking for a Staff Software Engineer, who will be part of a core team of engineers building production-grade microservices and web applications within a multi-cloud infrastructure.

The role will be based in Tel Aviv, and we are looking for eager, enthusiastic, curious, hard working and positive people to be part of our amazing journey.

In this job, you'll:

  • Be a proactive, design-oriented, hands-on and deeply technical leader - someone who can dive into the code, solve complex problems, and lead by example

  • Work closely with your peers to define architecture, enforce quality standards, and promote best practices across the stack

  • Collaborate closely with product designers to bring intuitive, high-quality user experiences to life

  • Mentor and guide other engineers to help them grow and thrive

  • Take ownership, contribute at every level, and help take our product and engineering team to the next level

We’re looking for candidates who have:

  • Extensive experience as a Full-stack engineer, demonstrating a track record of delivering high-quality products

  • Hands-on experience with web applications development - React / Vue / Svelte / Angular, Node.js backend runtime and Typescript

  • Proficiency in building tools such as Vite, esbuild, Parcel, Webpack

  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture

  • Familiarity with Redis, Postgres (or equivalent SQL language)

  • A business-driven approach to development, and provide the decision makers the ability to understand the business from analytics

  • The ability to be independent and proactive, as well; as a team player

  • Great communication skills. Able to simplify a complex idea as well as collaborate effectively with others

  • A strong sense of ownership and responsibility over their work and tasks.
