Help us solve fraud asap with Casap, where we’re building the world's first AI-native disputes automation and fraud prevention platform. Our mission is to create a future where trust is a given and fraud is rare by empowering financial institutions to automate disputes, eliminate first-party fraud, and turn manual back-office workflows into loyalty-building moments for customers and members.
We’re a Series A startup founded by product leaders from Robinhood and Chime, and we’ve raised over $30M from Emergence, Lightspeed, Primary Ventures, SoFi, and others. We have incredible product market fit, an exceptionally ambitious and kind culture, and our CEO, Shanthi, was recently named to Inc. Magazine’s 2026 Female Founders 500. Over the past 12 months we’ve more than 10x’ed revenue and we’re just getting started.

Location(s)

This is a hybrid role based out of our San Francisco, CA or New York, NY office. Our team works in-office time on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

About the Role

Casap is hiring our Founding Product Designer to define how humans and AI agents interact inside financial institutions. This is a new frontier for UX, and nobody has written these patterns yet. You set the craft bar, build the design system that helps all of us move faster with design, and work shoulder to shoulder with engineers, customers, and our founders.
You'll take complicated workflows and simplify them without losing accuracy or power. You'll shadow real people doing real banking flows in person and dream up new agent workflows to redefine banking. And you'll design content to help banks understand agentic transformation and lead them through it, on some of the largest stages and in the most important board rooms in the industry.

What You'll Do

  • Establish the patterns for how people supervise, correct, and hand work to AI agents, in an environment where being wrong is expensive.
  • Rebuild the flows behind provisional credit, evidence gathering, chargeback filing, and merchant response review, so a process that takes up to 90 days at most banks resolves in days.
  • Spend time on site with dispute and fraud teams at banks and credit unions, watching the actual work, then turn what you see into agent workflows nobody has designed before.
  • Produce the keynotes, board decks, and published points of view that banks use to understand agentic transformation, and present them yourself.
  • Work directly with engineers and customers to design new flows, from problem definition through pixel-level polish.
  • Prototype aggressively in Figma, in code, or with AI tools, whatever gets the idea across fastest.

What You've Done

  • 6+ years designing and shipping products, with meaningful time on enterprise, B2B, or workflow-heavy software.
  • Designed enterprise workflows before, and excited to rethink them with agentic AI.
  • Worked directly with engineers and customers to design new flows, and can handle ambiguity.
  • You’ve built design systems that help a whole team move faster with design, and can speak to what that unlocked.
  • Designed complex, information-dense interfaces, and can show how you made them simpler without making them weaker.
  • Exceptional craft and systems thinking. You know when to use an existing pattern, when to create one, and when to kill one, and you can articulate why you made a decision, not just what you made.
  • Strong storyteller in both words and visuals, with experience presenting to customers, executives, or industry audiences.
  • You've genuinely integrated AI agents into how you design and build, and can speak to what that changed.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in financial services, payments, fraud, or another highly regulated domain.
  • You've been an early or solo designer at a startup and know what that actually requires.
  • You ship your own code, or have worked as a design engineer.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with fraud systems, payment infrastructure, or chargeback processes!
