We are looking for someone passionate about fighting fraud, identifying new trends/typologies, naturally curious, and who has a strong desire to network with peers and partners within the fraud space. This position works closely with cross-functional stakeholders across engineering, customer success, product, marketing and more!

As a Risk Operations Analyst on our Risk Operations Real Time Funding (RTF) team, you will be responsible for enterprise-level payment risk analysis and investigations related to fraudulent activities. This includes the review of new and existing card processing and bank accounts, unusual card and ACH transactions, analysis and investigations of current accounts, new account fraud, risk profile reviews, and various fraudulent transaction scenarios.

We’d love to chat if you have:

• 3-4 years professional experience in financial fraud within ecommerce or payments; 1-2 years of credit risk review as a requirement
• Knowledge of card processing systems and diverse payment products and their associated fraud typologies highly preferred
• Deliver a high standard of quality review during customer KYC/KYB due diligence analysis
• Perform real-time/near real-time transaction monitoring utilizing multiple systems/applications, exercising judgment and decisions, to prevent and detect fraud
• Monitor existing customer accounts for continued credit worthiness based on analysis of past performance and current information
• Analyze bank statements, credit card processing statements, and other relevant documents to identify errors, discrepancies, or potential issues
• Knowledge and experience utilizing various data within investigations, fraud, and risk tools
• Puts a high value on accuracy and completeness of work including case notes, customer investigations, and investigations of fraud
• Has the ability to communicate clearly, and effectively with customers while investigating suspicious activity
• Has proven ability to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures
• Possesses excellent organizational and time management skills – must possess ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks simultaneously
• Independent decision maker with the ability to confidently back up actions
