Make your impact within a rapidly growing Fintech Company

As a Vendor Account Manager, your primary responsibility will be to manage a designated book of business while actively seeking new opportunities to drive revenue through virtual card payments. You'll collaborate closely with the sales team and leverage your networking skills to identify and engage current clients, nurturing relationships to facilitate retention and drive utilization.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Managing your book:
    • Manage and cultivate relationships with existing clients in your assigned book of business
      • Book is based on value of business and designed around a 90 day cycle
    • Understand clients' needs and pain points, offering tailored vendor preferences and virtual card payment solutions to address their challenges.
    • Provide support and assistance to clients, ensuring satisfaction and retention during the first 3 months of the Vendor onboarding into BILL’s payment network
    • Drive vendor utilization of virtual card product
    • Drive vendor education to improve the success of future payments overtime with proper documentation for future BILL product outreach
  • Building Pipeline:
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a clean and clear vendor experience
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of activities, including client interactions, opportunities, and forecasts
  • Performance Metrics:
    • Meet and exceed targets and KPIs, demonstrating consistent achievement of retention goals
    • Continuously evaluate and optimize Vendor partnership strategies to maximize effectiveness and efficiency
    • Provide regular updates and reports on performance to management, highlighting successes, challenges, and areas for improvement

We’d love to chat if you have:

  • 1-3 years work experience in an account management and/or retention sales rep role
  • BS degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets and KPIs
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a genuine passion for driving client satisfaction and business growth
  • Knowledge of virtual card payments or related financial products is a plus
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a drive to succeed in a fast-paced, competitive environment
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Gong, Tableau, Gainsight, Quickbase)
  • Ability to multi-task across multiple systems

The On Target Earnings (OTE) range for this role is noted below for our office location in Draper, UT. This role is eligible to participate in BILL’s sales incentive and equity plans. Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above. The role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, flexible spending & health savings account, paid holidays, paid time off, and other company benefits.
