The Director of Sales Development leads a team of 10 Sales Development Representatives. As the Director of Sales Development, you will be responsible for leading this dynamic team - driving outbound meetings and qualifying inbound leads; generating meetings and discovery calls for our Account Executives with the goal of building high-quality pipeline opportunities. You will also be responsible for their career development, holding regular 1:1s, team meetings, and performance conversations with your team and executives.

This is a hybrid opportunity requiring in-office presence three days per week.

The Opportunity

  • Play a key cross-functional role working with the Go-To-Market teams (Enablement, Sales, Marketing, and Operations) to drive pipeline growth.

  • Coach, train, and enable the SDR team on inbound and outbound best practices, call strategies, and account coverage

  • Collaborate with sales to build high-performing territories for AE and Sales Development teams.

  • Work with marketing on: messaging, campaigns, sequencing best practices, and follow-up strategies for the team

  • Monitor, report, and provide feedback to the executive team on SDR performance and areas for improvement

  • Partner with Revenue Operations and Enablement on new tools and processes

  • Design, implement, and execute incentive programs for the team

What We Look For

  • 3+ years of successful experience leading and managing a high-performing sales development team

  • Consistent record of managing teams of 8+ reps to exceed performance goals

  • Successful personal sales track record in an enterprise-focused sales environment, preferably at a SaaS company

  • Proven ability to hire, develop and retain talented and motivated people

  • Strong track record of managing daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly objectives

  • Exceptional skill in lead qualification, advanced outbound prospecting, buyer persona messaging and overcoming objections

  • Outstanding communicator (verbal and written), organized, with exceptional time management skills

  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com, Outreach or Salesloft strongly preferred.

  • Proficiency in navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales at large enterprises is required

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred
