AudiencePlus is the pioneering software platform for Owned Media that enables marketing teams to bring their revenue strategy into the modern era by building, engaging, and converting their owned audience. Marketers can launch a beautiful media property on their website without writing a single line of code, reveal detailed audience engagement data at the individual and account levels, and activate first-party intent data to connect audience engagement to revenue outcomes.

We raised a $5.4M Seed round of financing in March 2022 led by Emergence Capital with participation from Forum Ventures, Worklife Ventures, GTM Fund, and the CEOs of Gainsight, Guild Education, Redis, and Zoom.

About The Role

We are looking for an Account Executive to get in on the ground floor and work closely with our founder to build the Sales practice at AudiencePlus. You will be responsible for everything from creating pipeline, to managing the entire sales process, to helping our founder document the entire lead-to-revenue process in order to write our internal playbooks. Because of the breadth of the role, we are looking for entrepreneurially-minded who are capable of blowing out their sales quota while also building the revenue engines of the next great SaaS company.

We have a preference - but not requirement - to build our sales function at our GTM HQ in Phoenix, AZ in order to create the right type of chemistry and sales execution. We’d be willing to entertain remote candidates, but would prefer to help with relocation expenses to bring you to what Axios recently referred to as the “city of the future”.

What You Will Do

As an Account Executive on the sales team, the ideal candidate will identify, source, close, and oversee key prospect relationships. Using selling and relationship-building skills, this candidate will expand our customer base. Since we are still an early stage business, this role will serve as a key transition point from founder-led sales to a world-class sales organization.

  • Educate and guide prospects through the buying process.
  • Manage a pipeline of qualified leads to build relationships with potential customers.
  • Generate sales-sourced pipeline outside of the lead-flow driven by marketing.
  • Secure deals with new and existing customers at or above goal.
  • Work closely with our Co-Founder & CEO on documenting our sales playbook.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing and product teams to develop sales strategies for new and existing products.

Who You Are

  • 5 years of experience as an Account Executive for a high-growth SaaS company.
  • Goal oriented and competitive – takes pride in owning a number and beating it each quarter.
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter who can find success flying the plane while it’s being built.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communicator that holds responsiveness as a key value.
  • Team player who can work well with cross-functional partners in Marketing, CS, and others.
  • Views keeping Salesforce up-to-date as a responsibility rather than a burden.
  • Kind and values-driven with great interpersonal skills with teammates and customers.
