ASAPP is looking for a Lead Compliance Engineer, Sales Enablement to join our Security & Privacy Assurance team within our Security & Trust organization to help create a secure, safe, and trusted platform for our customers.
Security & Trust is responsible for managing an organization’s overall governance, enterprise risk management, and compliance with regulations. The main objective is to align IT security and compliance with business objectives in a structured way, while effectively managing risk and meeting compliance and regulation requirements.

What you’ll do

  • Support Sales process on customer security due diligence, including customer security and compliance questionnaires, resolving current or prospective compliance requests from customers
  • Engage with customers' security teams to describe ASAPP’s security posture and enable their security approval of ASAPP as a vendor
  • Maintain and update an internal security compliance questionnaire knowledge base through available GRC Tools
  • Work closely with internal teams to design and implement processes and controls to standardize and scale across the company
  • Provide technical interpretation of framework requirements to key stakeholders to assist in controls implementation
  • Assist in internal and external auditing and various compliance certifications
  • Assist in conducting security reviews for new and existing 3rd party vendors
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders

What you'll need

  • 10+ years of experience in an IT audit, security compliance, or a similar role with extensive knowledge in the area of security and privacy with at least 2 years in Sales/Customer-facing roles.
  • Familiarity with various compliance frameworks (such as SOC 2, PCI, HITRUST, GDPR, CCPA, ISO 27000 series, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to influence across all levels of an organization
  • Experience preparing proposals for highly complex solutions with strict cybersecurity requirements
  • Experience running the full security sales cycle for both new and existing customers
  • Proven success working in sales/customer-facing roles, focused on cybersecurity solutions or requirements.
  • Strong project and time management skills
  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to engage with customers and multiple internal stakeholders on a daily basis in an effective manner
  • Ability to exercise good judgment around the balance of compliance and business needs

What we’d like to see

  • CISSP/CISA/CCSP/CCSK certifications preferred
  • Working experience with Amazon Web Services
  • Familiarity with containers technologies (Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-a-code strategies (Terraform)
  • Working experience in evaluating 3rd party vendor security compliance review
  • Working experience in the software industry/technology consulting is a plus
  • RFP management software experience preferred
