As a foundational member of our FP&A team, you will partner with members across the organization to help drive financial and operational outcomes. This role requires a combination of heads-down data analysis and effective communication skills that frame findings and make recommendations about business decisions.
The ideal candidate will have the ability and desire to: wear many hats throughout the day, be comfortable making contributions that span from detailed analysis to executive-level summation, and interact across all levels and functions of the organization. What you’ll do

  • Help with the initiation of and maintenance of weekly and monthly reporting for the Leadership Team
  • Participate in vendor management including the assessment of new purchases and renewals, as well as contract negotiations
  • Present monthly and quarterly commission payment recommendations for the go-to-market organization
  • Conduct Ad Hoc analysis and projects relating to the SalesOps and EngOps functions
  • Support teammates in analysis relating to product value and costing exercise to assess pricing and product decisions
  • Partner and work closely with finance/accounting and cross-functional teammates to deliver full P&L and cash forecasts, including variance analysis, monthly
  • Participate in the financial planning, forecasting, quarterly snapshots, reporting, and monthly close processes
  • Serve as a consultative resource for leaders across the business to drive operational improvements and data-driven decision-making
  • Ensure budget owners have full visibility on how they are performing against their budgets, clearly identifying and articulating key opportunities and risks to plan
  • Develop and improve policies, processes, and procedures
  • Prepare financial materials for a wide variety of presentations for the leadership team and board
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial operations. Lead initiatives to refine processes and implement technologies to streamline financial operations

What you'll need

  • University degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • +2 years of relevant work experience either in Finance or Operations for a start-up or in an investment banking or consulting role
  • Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills
  • Analytical and detail-oriented work style
  • Ability to work under pressure and be able to continually reprioritize
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and continuous improvement mind-set
  • Strong “customer” focus and service-minded
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability for end-to-end process thinking
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to create effective, deep, and successful working relationships across all levels of the organization
