Certify the world's fastest-growing AI companies’ AI security

About AIUC

Agents are being deployed into hospitals, banks, and governments today. Soon there will be more agent-to-agent interactions than human-to-human interactions. The world needs a gold standard for AI safety, security, and reliability. That standard is AIUC-1, and building it is our mission.

Our mission is to underwrite superintelligence. We evaluate, certify, and insure AI agents, giving high-growth AI companies the credibility to earn their customers' trust. Over time, we will do the same for foundation models and data centers.

Our team comes from Anthropic, McKinsey, METR, Weights & Biases, Perplexity, and the Thiel Fellowship. We have raised $15M led by Nat Friedman, Emergence, and Terrain, with backing from Anthropic co-founder Ben Mann and ex-CISOs at Google Cloud and MongoDB.

The role

Every AI company building agents hits the same questions trying to land enterprise deals. The binding constraint on AI agent adoption is liability, not capability. Security and Legal teams ask about jailbreaks, hallucinations, prompt injection, and what happens when the agent fails. Existing standards like SOC2 or ISO 42001 don’t answer that, AIUC-1 does.

That's why companies like ElevenLabs, Intercom, UiPath certified their agents. We have a waiting list of companies wanting to be certified, and even more inbounding daily.

This is a one-to-a-hundred role, and in practice you will:

  • Manage and prioritize a high volume of inbound leads and conduct initial qualification for the highest-potential accounts

  • Own the full sales cycle with the most prominent AI agent builders, from first touchpoint to certification

  • Define, execute and refine campaigns within different domains — starting with AI for CX, voice, coding, legal, and fintech

  • Run experiments on pricing, pitch, and process — measure outcomes and build the playbook as you go

What we're looking for

You’re comfortable taking customers from intent to delivering business value, in a novel market with a complex technical product. You’re excited about ambiguity, structured enough to build hypotheses and fast to iterate on your experiments. On top of this, you’re a sharp communicator, and can build trust quickly.

To be successful, we think you have:

  • 3–4 years of closing experience in a high-growth early-stage tech company where you were building, not just executing, ideally in a founding GTM role

  • A consultative approach: you listen and diagnose before you pitch, and leave every conversation having learned something

  • A proven track record of taking ownership of unstructured, complex revenue-related projects and delivered outcomes

  • Deep hunger, and insatiable drive to win with our team and customers, in a market that's moving fast

  • Analytical skills and proficiency in discovery, demos and creating compelling presentations

  • Deep understanding of the SaaS/AI landscape — you can quickly triage market signal, and understand how these companies products should be scoped

  • The best candidates might also have

    • A background in consulting or investment banking

    • Experience working with security, legal, or innovation stakeholders

In addition to hard work and speed, we value open-heartedness.
