Role Summary

You will be responsible to building out our partnerships strategy - working directly with the executive team to execute and iterate on a critical part of our GTM motion. You will manage and grow our partnerships with accountants, bookkeepers, consultants, and other service providers that work with construction companies.

A successful partnerships manager can both act as a both a hunter and a closer; you can successfully navigate a full-cycle sales funnel, from prospecting to closing. You are also a strategic thinker - you'll work directly with our executive team to develop a go-to-market strategy and sales process tailored to developing new and existing channel partners. You’ll be a key player in developing and executing on Adaptive’s long-term growth strategy, and you'll have unlimited opportunities for growth as we expand the team.


  • Identify, develop, and close new channel partners to deliver Adaptive's automated financial management platform to SMB construction companies

  • Manage and grow relationships with existing channel partners to onboard more end-users to Adaptive

  • Develop novel go-to-market strategies and a consultative sales strategy that aligns long-term partner interests with Adaptive's core product offering.

  • Develop an understanding of our product, our value proposition, and how we fit into the market

  • Leverage knowledge gained from working directly with channel partners to be a subject matter expert and voice of the customer across the company.


  • At least 3 years of experience in a business development role, including prospecting, managing a pipeline, and closing.

  • Stellar verbal and written communication skills

  • Consistent over-quota performance in a high-volume, high velocity sales environment

  • Entrepreneurial - you are not afraid to develop, test, and iterate on sales, messaging, and marketing strategy

  • Previous experience working with CPAs, accounting firms, bookkeepers, and/or financial institutions is a strong plus

  • A strong sense of ownership to deliver results and overcome obstacles without an invitation
