Role Summary
This is an opportunity to become the first Staff Engineer at a rapidly growing startup, focusing on developing cutting-edge software solutions in the fintech and construction space. Since our launch in February, we've secured hundreds of customers with clear product-market fit. In this role, you will work closely with our product management team and engineers, playing a key role in the architectural design, development, and optimization of our products. Your technical expertise will be instrumental in guiding the direction of our engineering efforts and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software.
Responsibilities
Own the execution and delivery of product priorities in collaboration with the product management team
Align technical solutions with business needs and product vision
Lead the technical architecture and design of our software, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and security
Mentor and guide a team of engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement
Drive technical discussions and decision-making processes, ensuring alignment with overall company goals and technology strategy
Stay on top of emerging technologies and industry trends, advocating for the adoption of new technologies where appropriate
Lead by example in writing high-quality, maintainable, and robust code
Qualifications
8+ years of experience in software engineering, with a proven track record in SaaS / fintech or related fields
Deep expertise in modern software development practices and a broad range of technologies and frameworks
Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for tackling complex technical challenges
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to mentor and inspire engineering teams
Experience in architectural design and decision-making for scalable, high-performance systems
