The role
We’re seeking a founding Head of Growth to architect and scale Adaption’s developer engagement and sales strategy from the ground up. Reporting directly to the founders, you’ll own the complete growth function and serve as a key voice in shaping company strategy and product direction. You aren't just executing a playbook—you're writing it.
Why this role matters
Define the Model: Set the growth strategy from scratch. You decide how Adaption scales from its first users to category leadership.
Own the Outcome: You’re accountable for growth end-to-end, with the authority to identify real constraints and pivot the engine when needed.
Shape the Product: Your insights from the market create the clearest signal of user demand, directly influencing our product roadmap and engineering priorities.
Responsibilities
Build the Revenue Engine: Design repeatable systems that drive developer adoption and reliably convert usage into enterprise revenue. We value compounding systems over one-off campaigns.
Own the Full Cycle: Do the unscalable work first. You will find, engage, and close early customers yourself to validate the motion before we automate or scale it.
Run Fast Experiments: Launch and measure multiple tests each week across acquisition, activation, and monetization. Scale what works, cut what doesn’t—and do it at high velocity.
Lead Technical GTM: Create high-signal resources for the modern AI stack and build the data infrastructure that tracks the user journey from first touch to enterprise expansion.
Qualifications
Early-Stage Growth Operator: You have navigated the transition from founder-led sales to repeatable growth, ideally as a founding or top-5 GTM hire.
Developer-First & AI-Fluent: You have a deep understanding of how technical users adopt tools and enough AI fluency to discuss architectures directly with CTOs.
End-to-End Closer: Comfortable owning the entire sales process—from cold outreach and discovery to handling procurement, legal, and security reviews.
Builder Mindset: You automate the repetitive and manually hustle when speed matters. You are scrappy enough to do the work and sophisticated enough to build the system.
